The truth is that I know nothing about Artificial Intelligence, at least technically. My coding skills go as high as designing webpages with HTML and CSS. But that doesn't stop me from learning about this technology. AI has been around for some time, about 30 years. But humanity has made real progress in the last 3 years than in 3 decades. When I try to pinpoint what is it that really AI does, it's effective decision making. Decision making is an integral part of life. If you're good at it, you win this life. Decision making is everything. But our decisions can be clouded by emotions. Biases can cause us to take bad decisions. Harmful emotions can cause us to make decisions we regret. If we are to have a shot at successful life, we need to get good at taking decisions. AI excels in that. Not only because they don't have emotions, but because they learn at an incredible pace. With big data, superfluous computer power, they can take effective decisions that humans can...

I guess the purpose of this blog is to share my thoughts on artificial intelligence.  The idea of artificial intelligence is exciting. Humanity's single most powerful tool, in my opinion, is intelligence. Evolution made a brain capable of cognitive behavior, analytical thinking, reasoning, emotions and all the other good stuffs that is genetically coded into humans.  We took over this planet and built great civilizations while doing so. We made the world a better place to live by applying intelligence in all sectors of life.  Now we are on the brink of making our unique tool - intelligence - infinitely powerful.  Can we handle it? Are we ready for the next phase of evolution? Do we really understand what it means to have a tool that is better than our brains? I want to talk about this because its fun. I want to know what can we do about this? I want to know what we will evolve into. That is the purpose of this blog. CK
